Viento, An Artisan Coffee Roaster and café located a short walk from Watford Junction. It is perfect for commuters just to grab and go; a hangout to meet people, a quaint little spot to do some writing.
The café is laid back and the space has been carefully decorated with different kind of seating, outdoor seating is also available when the weather is good. You are also surrounded by everything related to coffee. When I walked up to the till to place the order I was not only welcomed by barista but a micro –roaster now you know why this little place is special. It is such a rare sight where a cosy café has a onsite micro-roaster. While you have your coffee you can even buy some coffee beans roasted onsite to take it home with you.
The coffee beans are carefully sourced from around the world. Being a tea drinker I was feeling bit confused with so many varieties of coffee beans and brew techniques. The barista was very helpful in sorting out the brew after a quick chat.
They not only have great coffee but equally amazing avocado toast and toasties.
It is fair to say that I loved the service here that I returned so many times not just to drink coffee but to enjoy the equally delicious avocado toast. I know what you are thinking yes I cheated on my cuppa can you blame me. But fear not it always my beloved tea everywhere else and always coffee at Viento.
If you don’t live near Watford and would like to try the coffee at home you can order the coffee via Viento Coffee Company’s website . The coffee beans are seasonal which changes through the year.
